Dharma

Dharma

The current corridor of eclipses continues to bring us physical and emotional storms along with many more surprises contributing to our journey! We are constantly evolving and learning how to stay on the path of Love and Light. The Mystic texts of the Bhagavad Gita advise us to just carry on with our dharma, our duty of service, one step at the time, no matter what. Maintaining devotion and faith in Divine Love can be challenging sometimes, so it’s important to imprint the mantra “Practice, Focus, Surrender” into our consciousness. This was definitely imprinted into my heart in 2010 thanks to my yoga teacher Paul Dallaghan. I bow down to him with such admiration and gratitude for inspiring me with his mastery in switching off the inner chatter and following his dharma. During my initiation I was instructed that one breath and one step onto the mat brings us back to certainty and back to our fundamentals. As the years go by, life changes, friends come and go, but the only certainty is the discipline of our practice. Whether things are beautiful or overwhelming I always step onto the mat. I am grateful I can practice daily. I inhale and connect to Divine Source, I move my breath, my body, my energy, my consciousness. It’s simply therapeutic for mind and Soul. We are Spiritual beings in physical form and yoga practice enables us to feel more deeply and intensely as we integrate all energies with physical form. As we slow down it becomes easier to comprehend we are here where we are supposed to be. This moment is perfect.
