Living on Love and Light.

My Beautiful Loving Sweethearts, I would love to share with you my recent discovery with food. It’s based on my experience rather than on science. If it resonates with you, that’s great and please let me know. My energy levels had always been high, but then one day getting up at 5.15 became a problem. So I returned to my childhood habits of eating small amounts. It’s never really been in my nature to eat huge meals and I think I had developed the habit of eating more than usual. As a child I was especially full of Joy and Energy. I was so excited to be on this planet to learn, to connect and grow, so food was not a priority. I must have lived mostly on Love and Light. My favourite foods were berries, tomatoes, cucumbers and not much else until my mum discovered she could feed me pancakes, buckwheat and potatoes in winter.
The more work I was doing on myself the more I was connecting to that energetic little girl. When I went to Italy a few months ago I felt like I entered into a fairytale world and I forgot to eat. I didn’t want to waste any of my limited and precious time to sit still and eat. I simply wanted to see, feel and lose myself in the ancient and incredible art. My food again became Love and Light. I felt so much energy and full of life. Now every time I feel like eating something wrong energetically, like sweets, I remind myself to find more sweetness in life and I ask myself who is it that I am trying to protect myself from? What is the source of this sense of lack? It’s time to let go of control and trust that everything is ok. So these days I drink a lot of lemon water during the whole day. It’s the best way to stay hydrated and it gives me energy and clarity. Water connects me to Divine Love and Light. Sometimes I miss breakfast as there is no time and I go straight into lunch. Sometimes I miss dinner and go straight to bed. These days I listen more to the energy of food and feel if this resonates with my body in that moment. Perhaps I am thirsty, not hungry?
I have also noticed that eating too close to practicing yoga doesnt work for me at all. The ancient texts actually suggest practicing on an empty stomach, maybe a minimum of 3- 4 hours after food.
So I stay close to Divine Source by eating only what my body needs and praying and practicing. Everything is still in progress so I will share any future developments.
