Do we love ourselves?

Do we love ourselves?

Since 2020 most of us have made a transformational quantum leap with online workshops! We studied various types of self development and creativity skills! We were practicing yoga, dancing, boxing, meditation, learning 5-6 languages and making artisan crafts at the same time!! We thought we touched everything we possibly could, becoming the best version of ourselves, yet forgetting the basics of self love. Yes, of course we know the theory explained by so many online gurus and self development coaches and we have probably even done some self loving homework. What if we come back to the fundamentals and consider “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”? It’s complicated because treating others in a way we ourselves would like to be treated when we don’t fully love ourselves can mean we either treat them poorly or even put them first and ourselves last as we unconsciously act out our past traumas. When we follow our inner guidance rather than acting out automatically from our damaged selves, we can then find unconditional love for ourselves and others. Indulging in addictions with food, entertainment, partying and so on tend to be distortions of authentic self love and create even deeper neuroses and addictions. Deep peace is found in the authentic self where we can live in love not fear. Every morning choosing to embrace oneself with love and acceptance brings us closer to the authentic self. Practicing yoga, meditation and gratitude also helps clarify our purpose and maximises our ability to achieve all that we wish for. Living in the now and being one with the abundant vibrations of beauty, grace, gratitude and the Divine is our authentic state of being.

The perfect caring present for a loved one at Christmas could be a gift voucher for a private Yoga class or for a Rolfing/Structural Integration session for your loved ones. Make it a Magic Christmas for them!
