We came to Earth for a reason. In order to recognise and fulfill our potential and use our unique abilities we have to learn to create our own manual for life. As soon as we allow the materialistic part of our mind to let go a bit and allow more garden space in there, we can more easily acknowledge our most authentic life path. When we are truly on track, we become increasingly aligned with the magical synchronisity and orchestration of the Universe. It’s so important to stay focused, letting trust and love replace any fear and doubt. If we get distracted, we need to refocus on surrendering to the incredible power of love which is the engine of the Universe. Yoga is such a great tool for refocusing. My first chapter with yoga started when the Latvian embassy refused to give me a passport with my surname Santos because Latvian grammar only permits Santosa. I didn’t appreciate the magic of that moment at the time. It was only 7 years later while I was studing sanskrit I come across the word ‘Santosa’ and discovered it means inner contentment. Wow! This surname from the Universe is a fundamental yogic principle which I had to practice 24/7! The second chapter was in Australia, when Christopher gave me a Shiva Rea yoga DVD. I lost myself in daily yoga practice and I couldn’t stop touching that invisible magic. At that time I felt it but still didn’t do anything about it. My third chapter was when a few people asked me to teach them yoga. I had no qualifications then, only passion in my eyes and heart. One of my private students paid me 3 times more than I asked for and this felt like a shout from the Universe to go and study to become a yoga teacher. It was like a Divine magnetic pull to visit India, I couldn’t resist any more.. I was blessed to study in India for many years with the best teachers I could ask for – Paul Dallaghan, Sharath Jois, Ajay and Vinay Kumar. Now I feel overwhelmed and blessed because one of my students is going to India. She is asking my advice about the teachers I studied with in Mysore. I feel Magic and Light around. What if we all spread more Light and Magic to shift the energy of our planet.
